Use Specter Cite by default

The assistant decides for each question whether to use Specter Cite. To have it reliably do so first for legal questions, save this sentence once. In ChatGPT, open Settings → Personalization and enter it under Custom Instructions.

For questions about German or EU law, use Specter Cite first and quote the wording with its source.

Example

For “Zitiere § 356 Abs. 2 BGB wörtlich mit Link.” (quote § 356(2) BGB verbatim with a link) ChatGPT fetches the provision through Specter Cite and quotes the wording with a link to the official publication.

ChatGPT answer: the wording of § 356(2) BGB fetched through Specter Cite, with the source gesetze-im-internet.de

Business und Enterprise

On ChatGPT Business and Enterprise, a workspace admin may need to allow custom plugins first.

Specter Cite is a product of Specter. Statutes and court decisions in their original wording, right in Claude and ChatGPT.
